I have the Golden Collections Volumes 1-3.

They are all glowing sets. A tiny less of the prime era 40’s- 50’s classic cartoons’ as the series continues on each release.

Positive, you’ll bag filler as Warner is going to mix some to produce more volumes. As long as it’s reasonable, that’s business.

The inclusion of a bulky disc of Mercurial Gonzales- is not useful to me. A single cartoon would have been sparkling. A wasted DVD in the fat station.

Would have liked more Daffy Duck. More Bugs/Daffy War Era too.

The 2 disc Spotlight with many righteous Bugs Bunny will do the job this time.

With aninimated cartoons going the arrangement they are today, we definitely often forget about what made a mammoth cartoon from the past. While so many people are eager in cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants, and The Fairly Oddparents, many have forgotten about the substantial from the 40’s and 50’s like Tom & Jerry, Droopy, and especially the Looney Tunes from Warner Brothers. It has been a definitive shame that so many have not seen these expansive gems for the past. That shame has also been shown with Warner’s release of their smaller Spotlight Collection DVD’s highlighting as alternatives for their acclaimed Golden Collections. Now, there is another one and this one misses the notice it got away from last time.

Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection Volume 4, takes a step help to the smaller collection of Looney Tunes gems, that delivers half of the best gems from their upcoming Golden Collection Volume 4. The recede is a dissapointment, especially compared to last year when Warner Brothers wisely made the smaller collection, into a pair of gargantuan movies: Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie, and Bugs Bunny’s 3rd Movie 1,001 Rabbit Tales. The collection unruffled consists of several substantial cartoons, mostly from Bugs himself in cartoons from Sahara Hare and the Note Twain parodied Knight-Mare Hare, which was loosely based on A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur’s Court. Although there are other enormous gems here too from Go Hover A Kit, and Dough Ray Me-Ow as well, but not enough to tackle the comic bone.

All in all, the Looney Tunes Spotlight Collection is not unpleasant as a sampler, for anybody who either can’t afford the bigger Golden Collection Volume 4, or objective hasn’t seen any of these large classic cartoons from thepast. Aloof, I would distinguished rather teach you occupy the Golden Collection Volume 4 when it comes out in November. That is all folks.

Crusade was a well casted series with the potential for a astronomical future.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Crusade - The Complete Series! Click Here

It started dead like B5 without a lot of definition to the legend arc, and the special effects were not all that at times… but the reveal had already developed a community feel to the well drawn characters, and as usual the dialog was top notch per jms standards.

After the cancellation jms eventually laid out what would’ve been the future of the myth arc, and I gotta say that with this cast this is one chronicle I would’ve loved to seen reach to fruition.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Crusade - The Complete Series! Click Here

As for the reference in the following review that the display was cancelled due to lack of popularity, this does not appear to be the case at all.

According to jms (and granted its a biased source, but he’s not one to modify the facts), TNT objective decided the expose didn’t fit into their type of programming. Audiences were tuning in for that expose only, and not staying. So they tried to mess with the expose and then eventually pulled the go. And because they don’t didn’t want to stare uninteresting if the explain were a success elsewhere, they wouldn’t let the rights go for any reasonable sum of money.

Crusade was a superb reveal with mammoth potential and a sterling cast. The note grew on me with repeated viewings. Not to be missed - especially by B5 fans.

Crusade had the perfect cast, the perfect creator and essential writer (J. Michael Strazynski), fantastic characters, blooming music, and it was killed before a single episode was aired. I adore the creator of the series and disfavor those who killed it.

If you have seen any of Babylon 5 or the special movies made for TV related to Babylon 5, you know the quality of production and writing potential Crusade had going for it. Crusade was to be another arc of an unfolding account from JMS within the Babylon 5 universe. In the precious 13 episodes that were completed the viewer gets only a petite glimpse at what might have been. The Babylon 5 TV Movie “A Call to Arms” was the lead in, not really a pilot, but a map of setting the stage for Crusade with some characters from both series.

If there is justice in the universe, JMS will one day be permitted to form Crusade as he envisioned it. Then the rest of us will peek it, and later when it is available, we will prefer it.

This should have been the first season of Sgt. Bilko (not the Steve Martin movie) explain starring Phil Silvers. But the folks at Paramount got icy feet about releasing Bilko with season sets. So what we’re left with as an introduction is a sampler of 21 episodes from the four seasons (there were 142 episodes made) . Seeing how you rarely win Phil Silvers on TV anymore, it’s level-headed primary to have in the collection next to the Hogan’s Heroes boxsets. Although you could also do this next to the Beach Party films since it features that man who would go on to become Eric Von Zipper. And don’t forget Phil’s fascinating tribute “Top Cat.”

Lost Bilko audition film

From TV’s Golden Age comes this vastly underrated sitcom with the shimmering Phil Silvers in the role of Sergeant Bilko, a conniving motor pool sergeant in peace time Middle America. He has at his his beck and call a platoon of fiercely genuine privates and a duo of devoted corporals played by Harvey Lembeck and Allan Melvin (the latter of whom provides an audio introduction for each episode on the DVD) . Bilko’s vital foil is Colonel Hall who is wonderfully portrayed by the avuncular Paul Ford. But Bilko and his crazy cadre will choose on all comers, be they a visiting Senate investigative committee, twisted gamblers or a recent strictly-by-the-book officer.

Bilko is the classic droll anti-hero. Whether his best laid planes pay off or not (and those of you familiar with sitcoms of the 50’s and 60’s know all about get-rich-quick schemes) the laughs are a definite thing. All this comedy and it comes sans the scatological references and overuse of sex that are mar today’s TV fare.

The hallmark of Silver’s humorous brilliance is that you often now what’s coming but its silly unprejudiced the same. Bilko was the perfect vehicle for him with its incredible writing and deep supporting cast (where did they ever win Maurice Gosfield? )

This DVD presentation is long overdue but worth the wait. In addition to the exquisite prints of these shows comes such special features are vintage commercials, Silvers’ Emmy victories at the 1956 version of that TV award explain and the obligatory talking heads from today.

Whether you remember the shows from their initial airings, or grew up with scattered reruns as I did or are effect modern to Bilko, this DVD status will, like Phil Silvers, not disappoint.

This will be the 7th volume of Trigun leaving only 1 volume (4 episodes) left with this series. This DVD was really expedient, recent space points and you learn current things about some charactesr. But it didn’t feel like this series would slay anytime soon at the demolish of the last episode. So with that, it will be spicy to sight how the series will raze. Maybe it will leave it commence for another series.

The video quality is like the previous volumes. The transfer looks nice, sometimes tiny parts annoy me. The audio is well done. I listened to the English dub, haven’t heard the japanese track yet. I am certain both of them are really nice. The dub for Trigun is incredible in my notion. I really respect this dub because the voices match the characters very well and that doesn’t happen mighty in many English dubs.

The three episodes are obviously entertaining, ‘The Puppet Master,’ one of the Gung-ho Guns led by Legato. You learn some more about the tainted people and their injurious deeds (a lot of base deeds in this DVD) . You learn some more about Vash’s past. Vash gets accompanied by Wolfwood and ditched Meryl and Milly. But they eventually win him as always. More humor, more drama, more action!

Buy,Download, Or Stream Trigun - Puppet Master! Click Here

Final Note: The DVD menu for this volume was simply improbable! It has the same interface as the other past ones but the nice music accompanying the nice background was fabulous. The menu is a photo album that opens up and flips through a few pages to salvage to the other pages. It fair looks really nice and works really well with the subtle BGM.

What a sizable Anime series! I simply esteem the Trigun series and it gets better and better with every novel volume. Puppet Master is one of my favourites. It gives us more insight about the Planet, Vash and of course, Wolfwood. I worship these two characters and I disfavor to say this, but I usually cheer on the terrible guys b/c I always acquire them to be worthy cooler. However not in this series, Vash and Wolfwood are improbable character creations. I highly recommend this DVD for everyone simply because Trigun offers glowing visuals, exact character development and an lively and suspenseful storyline.

Some of the best ever episodes of “The Simpsons” are included here as the reason this entire franchise has been so successful is for me because of the gleaming script and the genius of James L Brooks. The drawings of the characters are naturally quiet raw as they are not the finished product that we have become outmoded to over the years but this is acceptable given the quality of the gags and the broad story-telling. These episodes though have been transferred from a bad videotape master as we frequently score the bright, curved lines that you earn on a unpleasant video when the tape sticks to the playing magnetic head of the player and this is very evident in every episode which took away a large deal from my overall enjoyment of the dvds. I don’t remember seeing these when they were screened on tv and so it’s wretched that for a “Collector’s Edition” that we should catch such unpleasant dvd portray quality transfer although I have to say the sound quality on Dolby 5.1 surround is heavenly salubrious.

Overall, sizable episodes, sound quality but unpleasant describe quality transfer from what appears to be a videotape with all its inherent limitations.

Compare Prices on The Ringer

Pushover nice guy/dweeb Steve Barker (Johnny Knoxville) has to approach up with $28,000 to hide the cost of his lawnmower’s medical bills. His uncle, who is in serious gambling debt, hits upon the very questionable view of passing Steve off as retarted, thus qualifying him to compete in the Special Olympics. The disabled athletes, however, splendid fleet figure out that Steve is a poser, but they benefit him anyway because of their hate of arrogant perennial gold medal winner Jimmy Washington (Leonard Flowers) . At the same time, Steve tries to accumulate over attractive Special Olympics volunteer Lynn Sheridan (Katherine Heigl), while hilariously undermining her relationship with smarmy fiance David (Zen Gesner) .

I wasn’t definite what to demand going into this film. I haven’t really dug Johnny Knoxville in the past (though I liked him in Walking Spacious), and I was dangerous as to how he would play this character. Thoughts of Billy Bob Thornton’s Willie from Dreadful Santa ran rampant in my brain. However, The Ringer turns out to be a comic, sweet-natured film, which laughs with the mentally disabled, rather than at them. Knoxville’s Steve Barker is a surprisingly sympathetic character: an inherently decent dude trying to do the factual thing, but is trapped into a corner, and ends up doing the nefarious thing. While I don’t know if I can condone his actions, I do definitely feel for him. Knoxville reveals a vulnerable side that is a mini-revelation. Steve’s Special Olympics moniker “Jeffy Dahmer” smooth cracks me up. Katherine Heigl (television’s Roswell) is perfectly winsome and very hot as Lynn. The rest of the film cast is also uniformly very top-notch, and is peppered with real mentally disabled performers. Edward Barbanell (”Billy”) and John Taylor (”Rudy”) are both actors with Down Syndrome. Also, all the extra athletes are wonderful Special Olympics athletes.

Produced by the wacky Farrelly brothers, The Ringer is irreverent, hilarious, touching and, yes, even a tad inspirational. But was it maybe too PC? Yeah, I would have to say so. The Farrellys obviously wanted to toe the line with this very chancy topic (the Special Olympics gave their blessings to this film) . But, as someone had mentioned, one wonders what kinds of unpolitically-correct stuff was left discarded on the editing floor. Peaceful, this is a very amusing, feel-good movie, with a (who woulda thunk it? ) very likable lead. Guess I’m gonna have to open watching more Johnny Knoxville.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Ringer! Click Here

Special Features include: splendid icy film commentary by director Barry W. Blaustein, producer Peter Farrelly, and actors Johnny Knoxville, Edward Barbanell and John Taylor; a Special Olympics featurette; deleted scenes; “Let the Games Start - A Perceive at The Ringer” docu-segment; and a message from Special Olympics Chairman Tim Shriver.

Having seen most of Johnny Knoxville’s film oeuvre, I have not been particularly impressed. I’ve admired some elements of the smaller films (Daltry Calhoun, Substantial Theft Parsons) that he’s done to extend his acting cred, but have found most of his “blockbuster” work (Dukes, Walking Large) to be passable, at best, and excruciating, at worst. I’ll admit, I was not first in line to witness “The Ringer.” The notion of Knoxville going undercover as a participant in the Special Olympics seemed like a worry waiting to happen. In this world of political correctness, even the hint of impropriety threatens to derail questionable projects (considerable to my chagrin, most of the time), so I honest didn’t eye how it was possible that this chronicle was going to be made. But made it was, and with the rotund cooperation of the Special Olympics!

With minimal expectations, I actually found “The Ringer” to be very comic and filled with heart. Without a expect, I feel this is Johnny Knoxville’s best mask performance to date. He’s wickedly comic, surprisingly sympathetic, and a credible romantic lead all rolled into one. In a plot that is entered into with righteous intentions, Knoxville infiltrates the Special Olympics with the succor of his uncle (a hysterically black turn from Brian Cox) . There, he finds it noteworthy more spirited than he had anticipated–both physically in the sporting events and mentally as it’s difficult to fill his conceal. Of course, it doesn’t befriend matters that he falls for a handsome volunteer (natch) played by “Grey’s Anatomy”’s Katherine Heigl.

Of course, considerable of the humor is physical and grand might be considered offensive in definite camps. I, for one, found it refreshing that the other participants of the Olympics were not portrayed as “saints” but as dependable people. The front-runner, for example, is an outright villain. And when Knoxville is plot up on a blind date with a disabled girl, she is dismissive and peevish and downright mean. It’s a progressive and original conception, as most movies on this subject note exclusively righteous characterizations. Knoxville’s station against Heigl’s boyfriend is hysterical, his camaraderie in the group is original and believable, and his romantic inclinations are well-played.

With moments of what seem like mean-spirited humor, this is actually a sweet and respectful describe. I contemplate most people expected a bit more of the gross-out humor found in early Farrelly Brother’s pictures. This is a slightly more weak relate that the inspired “There’s Something About Mary”–but I was stunned and glad by how remarkable I actually liked “The Ringer.” KGHarris, 12/06.

You want classic Sci Fi with visionary special effects and mind-bending themes? Check out STAR WARS or 2001! You want a zero gravity striptease, costumes that topple off at a moment’s discover, and a region craft with wall to wall shag carpeting traveling through a lava lamp? BARBARELLA fits the bill! This is the widescreen DVD version with no edits. Although I have heard rumors of a more keen nick somewhere out there, this is not the PG rerelease from the 70s. Glance the movie Jane Fonda wants you to forget! Too abominable because she’s sexy, droll, and elegant here. Groove to the soundtrack of Phil Spector rip-offs, inspect in fright as she seduces … well… everyone in the film (incuding a female tyrant with a horn!) . But collected, it’s glowing tame and innocent fun. I search for this when I want to be in a respectable mood. It’s funny, fluffy fun! A pink bunny if you will.

This film, along with other beautiful classics such as “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls,” are determined proof that the age of really, really awful yet gracious films is late us. Residence in the 41st Century, the hypersexual Barbarella goes in search of the snide renegade scientist Duran Duran and manages to stumble across what must be the grooviest planet this side of “Vegas in Plot.” In her quest to gather Duran Duran (”Pardon me, but do you know Duran Duran? “), Barbarella manages to shag half the planet and pique the prurient interest of the spoiled, yet uber-sensual bisexual queen (”hello, my shapely, heavenly”) . After demolishing the fabulous Orgasmatron and getting herself locked into the queen’s funky chamber of dreams, Barbarella saves the day with a bubble of goodness and some attend from her blind angel friend Pygor. The unbelievably poor acting in this film is very well counterbalanced by the astonishing Pucciesque fun fur sets and extraordinary special effects (i.e. Everytime Barbarella has an orgasm her hair instantaneously perms itself!) It’s impossible, given our original climate of cynicism, to invent apt quality camp like this today. All attempts to reproduce a movie this overwhelmingly awful would honest have to fail. Yet, I cannot recommend this film highly enough - accelerate, do not prance, to scrutinize it.

Pharmacology for the Primary Care Provider Edmunds, Pharmacology for the Primary Care Provider Description:

Written by and for nurse practitioners, this practical textbook focuses on what primary care providers need to learn and practice drug therapy. With an overall emphasis on patient teaching and health promotion, you will learn how to provide effective patient teaching about medications and how to gain patient compliance. Drug coverage focuses on “key drugs” rather than “prototype drugs,” so you can find important information about the most commonly used drugs rather than the first drug in each class. You will also find discussions on the legal and professional issues unique to nurse practitioners and other primary care providers. The 3rd edition also features an expanded emphasis on established clinical practice guidelines and evidence-based practice, plus two new chapters that cover drugs for ADHD and drugs for dementia.

  • UNIQUE! Written specifically for nurse practitioners with an overall emphasis on patient teaching and health promotion.
  • UNIQUE! Covers specific topics such as prescriptive authority, role implementation, and writing prescriptions.
  • Presents comprehensive coverage of the drugs most commonly prescribed in - and the issues most relevant to - primary care practice.
  • UNIQUE! Identifies the Top 200 drugs in chapter openers with a special icon and covers them in-depth to familiarize you with the most important, need-to-know drug information.
  • Uses a consistent heading scheme for each prototype drug discussion to make it easier to learn and understand key concepts.
  • Includes an introductory chapter on “Design and Implementation of Patient Education” that highlights content on patient teaching and compliance.
  • Includes specific “Patient Education” sections in each drug chapter.
  • Provides extensive coverage of drug therapy for special populations to alert you to special considerations based on age, pregnancy, race and other factors.
  • A separate chapter on “Complementary and Alternative Therapies” discusses the available complementary and alternative modalities, including detailed information on actions, uses, and interactions of commonly used herbs.
  • Drug Overview tables at the beginning of each chapter outline the classifications of drugs discussed and provide a handy reference of drug classes and subclasses, generic names, and trade names.
  • Clinical Alerts highlight essential information that primary care providers must remember in order to avoid serious problems, including cautions for prescribing, information about drug interactions, or warnings about particularly ominous adverse effects.
  • An entire unit covers drugs for health promotion to introduce you to drugs commonly seen in outpatient primary care settings and to prepare you for practice in a society increasingly focused on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Includes separate chapters on Immunizations and Biologicals, Weight Management, Smoking Cessation, Vitamins and Minerals, Over-the-Counter Medications, and Complementary and Alternative Therapies.
  • Drug coverage focuses on “key drugs” rather than “prototype drugs,” since prototype drugs are technically the first drug in a given class but not always the best, newest, or most commonly prescribed drug.
  • Separate chapter on “Treatment Guidelines and Evidence-Based Decision-Making” provides practical guidelines for using the current best evidence to make decisions about the care of individual patients.
  • All content extensively reviewed by a PharmD consultant to ensure the most accurate, current, and clinically relevant pharmacology content.
  • Includes separate chapters on drugs to treat ADHD and dementia in order to expand on the current treatments available for these two common conditions.

essential text for nurse practitioners4
Clear , concise and useful. Excellent index in back. Also covers basic physiology at the beginning of each chapter. Up to date. Has got me through my pharmacology course!

Good resource4
I am a FNP who uses this text as a resource when I need to go back to the basics of pharm and put the pieces together- this is more than a “drug guide” and less than a PDR as far as information provided.

Helpful in elucidating pharmacology4
Book useful, chaptesr are short, begins with the pathophysiology and then extends to the pharmacology. That is a brilliant connection because as a healthcare provider that is the route of figuring out what meds to provide for the patient.

Customer Reviews:

This book is SUPERB.5
Took the CLEP exam after studying this book and it was a breeze. I scored a 73.

This book was very comprehensive and if you take the time to really familiarize yourself with the material you should do well on the test.

I supplemented the book with wikipedia.com and flashcard testing from instantcert.com.

Clep Intro Psychology4
I had to take this exam to place out of intro psych, and I had never taken a psych class before. I used this book as my primary study source. I supplemented the information in it with the Barron’s AP psychology review book because the clep book appears to be reasonably thorough but it could definitely use some extra stuff.

Here are my recommendations for how to do well on the test..

1) try not to wait until 2 or 3 days before like I did.
2) read and study this book thoroughly so you REALLY know the
stuff.. not necessarily 100% memorized, but pretty close.
3) After you read through every chapter (all of which are short) Go through the same information in the AP book (the books are VERY VERY close in format)
4) After you finish studying the stuff in the books, take a practice test, then grade yourself fairly, and then go over all of the answers, even the ones you got right because the cd gives explanations. then study what u didnt do well on
5) do the same thing for the 2nd test.
6) Finally, if u buy the individual study guide for this test from the college board website ( its around 10 bucks) that provides 61 questions directly from them. then take those too and keep building on everything youve learned it will all start to click. I took the exam today and i had trouble with some questions i felt were slightly vague or the terminology used was altered a little.. but if you reason through the answers and u know the stuff from the books, and take and learn the practice tests (a bunch of questions are very similar)then you will be in good shape for the exam.

incase you are wondering i ended up getting a 73 out of 80 on this exam. I know this sounds complicated and long but definitely buy this book, and learn it. Hopefully this helps.. most importantly dont be nervous.

Another “A”4
I thought I’d give this book a try after successfully using other REA titles. I found this book to be a great resource and passed the Psychology CLEP with an “A”. It only has two practice tests but they are fairly detailed. The information in the text is a little light and sometimes confusing. I had to look at a few other sources to figure out what this book left out, specifically on the structure of the brain and brain stem. All in all I think this is a great CLEP study resource and it is the reason I passed this CLEP. This was my fifth CLEP and I bought all the other books based on customer reviews. This one was new and had no reviews so I took a chance. It paid off. I recommend this book.

Chapter 1 - PASSING THE CLEP INTRODUCTORY PSYCHOLOGY CBT

ABOUT THIS BOOK
This book provides you with complete preparation for the CLEP Introductory Psychology Computer-Based Test, or CBT. Inside you will find a concise review of the subject matter, as well as tips and strategies for test-taking. We also give you two practice tests, all based on the official CLEP Introductory Psychology CBT. Our practice tests contain every type of question that you can expect to encounter on the actual exam. Following each practice test you will find an answer key with detailed explanations designed to help you more completely understand the test material.

All 34 CLEP exams are computer-based. As you can see, the practice tests in our book are presented as paper-and-pencil exams. The content and format of the actual CLEP subject exams are faithfully mirrored. We detail the format of the CLEP Introductory Psychology CBT on pages 5-6.

ABOUT THE EXAM

Who takes the CLEP Introductory Psychology CBT and what is it used for?
CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) examinations are typically taken by people who have acquired knowledge outside the classroom and wish to bypass certain college courses and earn college credit. The CLEP is designed to reward students for learning - no matter where or how that knowledge was acquired. The CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the country, with more than 2,900 colleges and universities granting credit for satisfactory scores on CLEP exams.

Although most CLEP examinees are adults returning to college, many graduating high school seniors, enrolled college students, and international students also take the exams to earn college credit or to demonstrate their ability to perform at the college level. There are no prerequisites, such as age or educational status, for taking CLEP examinations. However, because policies on granting credits vary among colleges, you should contact the particular institution from which you wish to receive CLEP credit.

There are two categories of CLEP examinations:

1. CLEP General Examinations, which are five separate tests that cover material usually taken as requirements during the first two years of college. CLEP General Examinations are available for English Composition (with or without essay), Humanities, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences and History.

2. CLEP Subject Examinations, which include material usually covered in an undergraduate course with a similar title. The CLEP Introductory Psychology is one of 29 subject examinations.

Who administers the exam?
The CLEP CBTs are developed by the College Board, administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS), and involve the assistance of educators throughout the United States. The test development process is designed and implemented to ensure that the content and difficulty level of the test are appropriate.

When and where is the exam given?
The CLEP Introductory Psychology CBT is administered each month throughout the year at more than 1,400 test centers in the United States and can be arranged for candidates abroad on request. To find the test center nearest you and to register for the exam, you should obtain a copy of the free booklets CLEP Colleges and CLEP Information for Candidates and Registration Form. They are available at most colleges where CLEP credit is granted, or by contacting:

HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

What do I study first?
Read over the course review and the suggestions for test-taking, take the first practice test to determine your area(s) of weakness, and then go back and focus your study on those specific problems. Studying the reviews thoroughly will reinforce the basic skills you will need to do well on the exam. Make sure to take the practice tests to become familiar with the format and procedures involved with taking the actual exam.

To best utilize your study time, follow our Independent Study Schedule, which you’ll find in the front of this book. The schedule is based on a six-week program, but can be condensed to three weeks if necessary by collapsing each two-week period into one.

When should I start studying?
It is never too early to start studying for the CLEP Introductory Psychology. The earlier you begin, the more time you will have to sharpen your skills. Do not procrastinate! Cramming is not an effective way to study, since it does not allow you the time needed to learn the test material. The sooner you learn the format of the exam, the more time you will have to familiarize yourself with it.

ABOUT OUR COURSE REVIEW
The review in this book provides you with a complete background of all the pertinent theorists, principles, and concepts of Psychology. It will help reinforce the facts you have already learned while better shaping your understanding of the discipline as a whole. By using the review in conjunction with the practice tests, you should be well prepared to take the CLEP Introductory Psychology.

SCORING YOUR PRACTICE TESTS

How do I score my practice tests?
The CLEP Introductory Psychology is scored on a scale of 20 to 80. To score your practice tests, count up the number of correct answers. This is your total raw score. Convert your raw score to a scaled score using the conversion table on the following page. (Note: The conversion table provides only an estimate of your scaled score. Scaled scores can and do vary over time, and in no case should a sample test be taken as a precise predictor of test performance. Nonetheless, our scoring table allows you to judge your level of performance within a reasonable scoring range.)

When will I receive my score report?
The test administrator will print out a full Candidate Score Report for you immediately upon your completion of the CBT (except for CLEP English Composition with Essay). Your scores are reported only to you, unless you ask to have them sent elsewhere. If you want your scores reported to a college or other institution, you must say so when you take the examination. Since your scores are kept on file for 20 years, you can also request transcripts from Educational Testing Service at a later date.
